The Bleeding Control (BCon) Basic Course v. 1.0 is approximately 2 hours of classroom instruction using hands-on, practical application training. It was designed for individuals who have little or no medical training, but who may be called upon as immediate responders to provide initial trauma care and bleeding control to a victim of traumatic injury prior to the arrival of emergency medical services (EMS), or in an austere environment.
To inform, educate and empower individuals on how to provide vital initial response to stop uncontrolled bleeding in emergency situations.

Students are required to:
Attend the entire course
Demonstrate all practical skills learned during the course
All training materials will be provided by Teaching Defense.
Upon successful completion, students will receive a digital certificate for the Bleeding Control Basic Course v1.0 through email.
